Junior Project Management and Communications Coordinator Intern
Job Information
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager/Communication Coordinator with experience in project management and who is bilingual (English/French). In this role, you will lead the coordination of communications and project activities across our diverse range of clients and projects. Your primary focus will be to support the smooth execution of projects by working with the project team and developing communication outputs.
While your core responsibilities will focus on communication and project coordination, we also highly value experience in instructional design. This would involve improving our training materials and making them more engaging and visually impactful. We seek to streamline and continue to improve our communication resources. .
This role is perfect for someone passionate about communication, content creation, and educational design, who is looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Tasks

Social Media Communication: Manage and create engaging content for our social media platforms to promote our projects, raise awareness, and engage with the ecosystem.

Project Support: Provide support for various projects as needed, including coordinating communication materials, contributing to project deliverables, and assisting team members in executing tasks.

Content Development: Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality communication content that aligns with our brand’s voice and vision.

Instructional Design: Develop instructional materials that support client deliverables, capacity-building programs, client workshops, and internal and external resources.

Content writing / storytelling

Write & publish content to feed Linked In

Contribute to the design of the editorial line on the website

Ensure media monitoring

Keeping our communications and intra-project documentation up to date (taking notes, managing communications, managing information sharing and Google Drive files)

Write press releases and press kits in order to share them with our partners and customers

Develop our communications with our partners

Develop content that supports the brand strategy and the communication needs of the company

Support our projects and our training programs by designing messages, case studies and brand stories based on the principles of storytelling

Develop material that contributes to solving the main issues or communication needs of the projects/clients as identified by the team.

Review, translate and edit texts and written content written by other team members.

Instructional Design / Digital communication

Support the integration of corporate graphic design guidelines, standards and best practices.

Design corporate content for various media, consistent with the company's brand (modern, inviting, fluid, smooth transitions).

Design and develop instructional materials focused on social impact and measurement for various stakeholders (eg. internal team members, clients, partners…_)

Create engaging and interactive content, including video, audio, graphics, and other digital media.

Develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs and learner outcomes, ensuring they meet both organizational goals and client expectations.

Align and create training materials with broader organizational messaging, helping to present the methodology and highlight impact pathways.

Requirements​

You are FULLY bilingual, perfectly comfortable writing and consulting in both languages (essential);

Work Conditions​

Part- time position based in Montreal;

Position duration: 6-8 months

Possibility of telecommuting with being occasional presence in our Montreal office (located in the MTLAB at the Campus des Sciences de l'UQAM) according to a flexible combination;
