ICCA Congress 2024
Impact Catalyser: Strategy Building
Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau has engaged #MEET4IMPACT and GDS-Movement to implement an impact and legacy strategy for the ICCA Congress 2024. GDS-Movement will focus on the operational sustainability approach, while #MEET4IMPACT will leverage its expertise to drive impactful initiatives. This collaboration aims to enhance sustainability and social responsibility in the UAE, creating lasting positive change within the global business events industry.
Intermoda
Impact Catalyser: Strategy Building
Intermoda, a 40-year leader in Latin America's fashion industry, is advancing sustainability and legacy creation through the Sustainability and Legacy Project. In partnership with Global Destination Sustainability Movement (GDS-Movement, Meet in Guadalajara, Expo Guadalajara Oficial, Guadalajara Convention & Visitors Bureau, and #MEET4IMPACT, the initiative aims to establish Intermoda as a regional benchmark for sustainable practices in events and fashion.
FIEXPO Latin America
Impact Catalyser: Strategy Building
FIEXPO Latin America partnered with global sustainability experts, such as the GDS-Movement and #Meet4Impact, to weave sustainability into its core strategy. By assembling a dedicated team from FIEXPO and its partners in Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Uruguay, FIEXPO aimed to leave a lasting positive impact on both the destination and the meetings industry. Scheduled for June 10 to 13 in Panama City, the upcoming FIEXPO edition leads the way in sustainable practices within the Latin American Meetings Industry.
Destination Canada
Impact Seeker: Impact Measurement
#MEET4IMPACT, in collaboration with GainingEdge and Destination Canada, is currently engaged in a comprehensive study to explore the impact and lasting effects of business events throughout Canada. This ongoing study, spanning multiple years, focuses on examining the outcomes and intended impacts of 16 events held across Canada between 2018 and 2024.
Explore Edmonton
Impact Explorer: Education & Capacity Building
Explore Edmonton is undertaking a project to create a Responsible Events Program Manual (REP Manual) in collaboration with #MEET4IMPACT. This manual will serve as a comprehensive guide for event planners, equipping them with tools and knowledge to incorporate sustainability and positive social and environmental impacts into their event planning processes. The project also includes stakeholder engagement and the development of a communication strategy.

Impact Catalyser: Strategy Building
The Fabienne Colas Foundation (FFC) is launching a Case Study to adapt to changing circumstances, including COVID-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement, with a focus on understanding its impact and strengthening its development strategy.

VisitBritain Business Events
Impact Catalyser: Strategy Building
VisitBritain Business Events sought to enhance their knowledge and work on event legacy and impact within the context of the United Kingdom. In a specialized collaboration, we teamed up with the Global Destination Sustainability (GDS) Movement to assist VisitBritain Business Events in building their capacity. #MEET4IMPACT worked independently to bolster VisitBritain's implementation of impact and legacy within their events and meetings.

Impact Catalyser: Strategy Building
VISITFLANDERS represents the beautiful Belgian region of Flanders, embarked on the "Travel to Tomorrow" initiative in 2017 with the goal of shaping a sustainable and forward-thinking Flanders. Since 2021, #MEET4IMPACT has been in a collaborative partnership with VisitFlanders, actively contributing to their endeavor towards responsible tourism and playing a vital role in bridging the gap within their strategic social impact strategy.
EASL
Impact Maker: Event Legacy Planning
#MEET4IMPACT partnered with EASL for their 2022 International Liver Congress in London in support with ExCeL London. This marked #MEET4IMPACT's first association-led legacy project. The collaboration aimed to intentionally build legacy pathways, tapping into a growing trend where both destinations and associations focus on enhancing social impact.
Tourisme Montréal
Impact Maker: Event Legacy Planning
The project involved #MEET4IMPACT collaborating with Tourisme Montréal and the local organising committee of AIDS The goal was to identify the desired impacts of the conference, develop a work plan, an engagement strategy for stakeholders, and a framework for managing and measuring the outcomes and impacts.

The MT Lab is the premier incubator for innovation in tourism, culture and entertainment in North America. It launches an annual call for start-ups according to the innovation needs identified by its partners.
